It is true that many people feel like outsiders to Church. Some have been alienated by a congregation or an individual, turned off by a message or theology, or simply found it irrelevant to life or lifestyle.
Sound familiar? Is it true of your family, your friends, you?
This September at COFS Pastor Chris Nunley will address 3 critical life-questions most people have that the Church can answer.
No one has to be left...Outside.
Why do people live “Outside”? (answers from Pastor's Class 09/09)
Lack of faith
Lack of acceptance
Bad Experiences
Describe the difference between Inside and Outside.
Insiders are church attenders and members
Outsiders are those outside the life of the church.
Sometimes outsiders are in church, but feeling left out.
Sometimes there are outsiders who feel that they are insiders.
.
Where is the disconnect between them?
There is an Outside/Inside problem.
It was not created by outsiders alone, but also by insiders.
The church is full of cliques that are hard to break into. Keeps outsiders out

People live without God just fine, or so it seems. I want to show how that while things might be normal and seemingly fine without God in our life, there is a quality difference when God is present. It's like the difference between watching an old tube black and white tv and a new HD LED!
Why do people need God?
transformation, hope, life eternal, acceptance, God's help, feeling, fellowship, opportunities, guidance, forgiveness, purpose, something to believe in, a place to belong, love, relationship with God, Peace.
Is it possible to live without God?
What Can God do that people cannot get without God?
List all of the things only God could have done in your life:
What difference has knowing/believing that Jesus is the Son of God made in your life?
Look up these scriptures and see what each says about our life with God:
Genesis 2:4-25
Psalm 104:29
Matthew 4:12-17, (23-25)
Romans 12:1-2
John 1:1-9, 14
John 3:16-17 (18-21)
Acts 10:34-43
Colossians 2:6-10
Philippians 4:17
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
God gives things into our lives that cannot come without God.
Yes, people can live without God, but the question is, do they really live?
